Hey Pat, assess that Sharp deal. I had hoped they’d use some of that center depth to get a stud goaltender.
How does Ellison fit into their plans? Wing depth or something more (future 1st or 2nd line player)?

Clearly they have center depth to burn so it almost doesn't matter if they get the short end of the deal. Still I'd like to see them get value. If Sharp becomes a frontline guy while "Ralph" Ellison is checking line guy here for 2 years and then is traded away, that would suck. CLarke's aggresiveness can be scary.
What really sticks in my craw (?) about the Lindros deal isn't giving up Forsberg, its giving up five other serviceable to very good players a two picks. (who did those picks turn into?)
Anyway, that was my point. His aggressiveness is a mixed blessing. Though as you point out, he's "aggressive" when it works and "fickle" when it doesn't
I forgot about Oates. If I remember correctly, he had exactly 10 seconds of quality hockey left in his tank.
By the way, did you order that Comrie Flyers jersey yet?
